Frequently asked women’s health physiotherapy questions

Yes. Appointments take place in private treatment rooms, enabling discreet diagnosis and confidential treatment.
If available, please bring any relevant referrals, imaging, or reports related to your concerns. Comfortable clothing that allows movement or access to the area being evaluated is recommended.Insurance details may also be required if you plan to make a claim.
Sessions in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, women’s health physiotherapy, clinical Pilates, massage therapy, and pregnancy massage are available, based on individual needs and findings.
Pregnancy massage is provided by clinicians trained in pregnancy-specific techniques and positioning. Care is adapted as needed to support comfort and safety throughout treatment. We use highly specialised pregnancy pillows to give the support you need.
Pelvic floor muscle training may help improve control of the pelvic muscles, which can support symptoms such as urinary leakage or prolapse. A thorough assessment helps determine whether training, corrective exercises, or other physical therapy approaches are appropriate.
Women’s health physios can support concerns such as sexual dysfunction, perineal pain, or discomfort following birth. Treatment is provided in a safe space and may include education, manual therapy, ultrasound and tailored exercises.
We provide care for a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including carpal tunnel syndrome, De Quervain’s, and sacroiliac joint (SIJ) pain, among others that affect movement and function.
